Updates on France’s government-issued COVID-19 regulation

Here are updates on France’s government-issued COVID-19 regulations :

From July 21
All visitors age 18+ must present proof of COVID non-contamination to enter any cultural venue that accommodates 50+ people (Cultural venues include: theaters, cinemas, museums, theme parks, festivals & concert halls).

From August 1
The above applies also to cafes, bars & restaurants (including terraces), shopping malls, hospitals, retirement homes, planes, trains.

From August 30
The above applies to teens age 12-17.

The pass must prove one of the 3 following items :
That you are fully vaccinated (with an EMA-approved vaccine):
2 weeks after the second shot for two-shot vaccines ;
4 weeks after the shot for one-shot vaccines (J&J);
2 weeks after the shot for vaccines administered to people who have already had COVID-19 (only one dose).

OR that you have been tested (PCR or antigen) with a negative result within the last 48hrs;

OR that you have recovered from COVID-19, attested by a positive PCR or antigen test result, at least 15 days and no more than 6 months old.

Currently, France's digital application - TousAntiCovid - does not recognize foreign vaccine certificates, so Americans should plan to show the paper version until this is addressed by the government. They can be presented in English.
